Quest (Frank S)

I was born in Clearwater, FL and grew up in a small town, called Seminole. At least it was small and undeveloped at the time. Now it's just one big ugly strip-mall. I'm a 2nd generation American and a descendant of Slovaks, Maltese & Spanish. I had a great childhood and was lucky enough to grow up in a close-knit neighborhood with wonderful friends. I'm still in touch with most of them. My parents were born and raised in NYC from immigrant parents. Somehow their NY roots took hold of me and never let go. I lived in NYC for 8 yrs, the first time around. And, left only one year before Sept 11th. Now I split my time between Miami and the NYC neighborhood of Tribeca. I went to FL State University and majored in Media Communication. I've worked for: WFSU-TV in Tallahassee, FL; WAGA-TV, formally the CBS affiliate, in Atlanta, GA; The Houston Chronicle in Houston, TX; Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising, & Claritas, both in NYC. Currently, I am retired. I'm coping with a genetic illness, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, type III. I have traveled extensively throughout the world, including Europe, Africa and South America. I live with my supportive partner, Bill. We've been together for 9+ yrs.
